CUB SCOUT UNIFORM

Your uniform is an important part of being a Cub Scout. Wearing it lets people know that you belong to a den and a pack and, most important, you belong to the Boy Scouts of America! You should wear the uniform to den meetings, pack meetings, and any special activities you participate in.

When you wear the full Cub Scout uniform, it shows you are a member of the team!

The Cub Scout "Class A Uniform" has these required parts:

Shirt—The official uniform shirt is available with long or short sleeves and has button-flap pockets.

Tiger, Wolf, and Bear Cub Scouts wear the Blue uniform shirt. The official uniform shirt is available with long or short sleeves and has button-flap pockets and "Boy Scouts of America" lettered in gold above the right pocket.

Recommendation: Buy a short-sleeve uniform shirt for your boy. A long-sleeve shirt can be worn underneath the uniform shirt when the weather is cold, and during hot weather, your boy will thank you for the short sleeves. Also, buy the shirt one size too big. This way you will be buying less uniform shirts over the span of your Cub Scout years.

Webelos Scouts may wear the Khaki uniform shirt. The official uniform shirt is available with long or short sleeves and has button-flap pockets and "Boy Scouts of America" lettered in red above the right pocket. Additionaly blue shoulder loops are worn with the shirt.

*Webelos Scouts have the option of wearing the blue uniform shirts they wore as Bear Scouts, so long as the shirt is still in presentable condition.

Lion Scouts wear the Blue Lion T-Shirt and Blue Lion ball cap.

No other uniform items are required for Lions.
